earth lodge revisited

raining all day,i did more work on the lodge...have also found a good rabbit warren,good fresh droppings around...

finished off a couple of projects today.

geurilla camp

colder today,fog around,not much wildlife activity...
set up a geurilla camp,tried out cooker,using nail polish remover,it did work,although i think meths would burn hotter..

busy day

messing about with camo techniques today.
did some work on my earth lodge.
found some ski goggles.

snow cooker

im experimenting in a small cooker that will fit on my belt easy,then i can cook without giving away my presence,but it must eventually be a natural source...this may work well in a shelter etc.

snow snow and snow

it snowed the heaviest in 20yrs today..28cm.
built an emergency snow shelter.

dream catcher

made a dream catcher using an ivy root vine for the hoop,and smaller vines for the web,also added oak galls and pheasant feathers and a deer tail.
